In 1993, KRU started their ReKRUed Rap Tour, [6] followed by the Awas Da' Concert tour two years later. In 1997, they released the album Viva Selangor as a tribute to Selangor F.C. and Everest for Everest project [clarification needed] [citation needed] and commenced their KRU Mega Tour, sponsored by Peter Stuyvesant.

KRU Studios has produced a number of Malay language feature films such as Cicak-Man, Duyung, Cicakman 2 – Planet Hitam, Jin Notti, My Spy, Magika, and Karak.In June 2008, the company funded and co-produced an English language Hollywood film, Deadline featuring Brittany Murphy [1] for global distribution.
The film is co-produced by KRU Studios and Crest Animation Studios with partial financing from the Malaysian government's Multimedia Development Corporation. [1] The development and post-production work was entirely completed in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, while the animation took place in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and Mumbai, India, and most of the rendering was done in Hong Kong.
