Whitley County is a rural county in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2020 United States census , the population was 36,825. [ 1 ] Whitley County is the 49th most populous county in Indiana.
Etna-Troy Township is one of nine townships in Whitley County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,863 (down from 1,889 at 2010 [ 3 ] ) and it contained 875 housing units.
The largest county is Allen (657 sq. mi., 1,702 km 2) and the smallest is Ohio (86 sq. mi., 223 km 2). [3] According to the Constitution of Indiana, no county may be created of less than 400 square miles (1,000 km 2), nor may any county smaller than this be further reduced in size, which precludes any new counties. [4]
