Los Gatos High School (LGHS) is a high school in Los Gatos, California. It was founded in 1908 and is part of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District, which in 2021 was ranked the best high school district in California [2] [3] The school enrolls approximately 2,100 students [4] and employs about 100 teachers.

Northwestern was invited to the TicketCity Bowl after posting a 7–5 record in the regular season. The Wildcats made a school-record third-consecutive bowl appearance. The Wildcats had not won a bowl game since defeating California in the 1949 Rose Bowl. They fell to Auburn, 38–35, in overtime of the Outback Bowl last season.
Charlie Wedemeyer (February 19, 1946 – June 3, 2010) was a high school teacher and football coach. He played college football at Michigan State University. After being diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, he continued to teach and coach football at Los Gatos High School. He was the subject of a PBS documentary and a made-for-TV movie.
