I figured this was the only place to post this (I didn't happen to see a sauna sub-forum haha :p). Quite sure I have it understood but I'm definitely willing to hear some opinions. I understand that sodium helps your body hold water weight... and using a sauna helps cut water weight.
The only reason to sit in a sauna for weight loss would be for temporary reasons, such as wrestlers weighing in the next morning who want to lose every ounce they can, which often gets dangerous. 02-19-2007, 09:18 PM #5
I do muay thai, and in my acadamy, several of the trainers will train with sauna suit on, before a big fight, they train like 2 week before hand, once they suit is off, they can last like 1000000000 more rounds before they had it on. but u need to rehydrate yourself very often, or you do more dmg then good. cheers
