The Lake Ontario State Parkway is a 35.05-mile (56.41 km) limited-access parkway along the southern shore of Lake Ontario in Western New York in the United States. The western end of the highway is at a partial interchange within Lakeside Beach State Park in Carlton, Orleans County.
The site was transferred to New York State's ownership in 1938, and was renamed Hamlin Beach State Park. After World War II, the Lake Ontario State Parkway was extended through the park, increasing accessibility. [3] The parking lot was expanded to handle the increase in visitors, and the campgrounds were built.

It extends for just over 7.5 miles (12.1 km) along the Orleans–Monroe county line from an intersection with NY 104 in Clarkson to the Lake Ontario shoreline north of an interchange with the Lake Ontario State Parkway in the Hamlin hamlet of Troutburg.
