The nationally accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is intended to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes basic to the function of registered nurses in the direct care of patients.

Moorpark College offers a two year curriculum Designed to prepare the student for entry into the practice of nursing. The successful completion of this program entitles the student to an Associate of Science Degree, and meets the eligibility requirements to take the professional licensing examination to become a registered nurse.
Moorpark College has adopted a multi-criteria selection process for admission combined with a random selection process, due to changes in legislation and the Education Code (Section 78261.5). The multi-criteria selection process will be utilized to select the most qualified candidates for admission.
