The border is actually not missing (you can see that on the coloured areas on the image above), but the Windows Explorer border colour changes to white when you set focus to it, and then it very often looks as if there was no border at all, since other windows (below) often tend to have a white background. White on white is not a good combination.

Restore the old Context Menu in Windows 11. Right-click the Start button and choose Windows Terminal. Copy the command from below, paste it into Windows Terminal Window, and press enter. Restart File Explorer or your computer for the changes to take effect. You would see the Legacy Right Click Context menu by default.

When I open the File Explorer, I can see my folders and files. However a few minutes later File Explorer freezes. So I have to close the File Explorer then start it again
