David William Heath (born February 16, 1969) is an American professional wrestler.He is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1998 to 2001 and intermittently throughout the mid-2000s under the ring name Gangrel.
On the May 17 episode of Raw, The Brood took on Hardy Boyz and Michael Hayes with all battling outside of the ring and the match getting thrown out, sparking the beginning of the rivalry between Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz. On the May 24 episode of Raw, Edge and Gangrel lost a WWF Tag Team Championship match to Kane and X-Pac.

As Gangrel ran at the ropes, Henry pulled down the ropes, sending Gangrel outside the ring. Brown distracted the referee as Henry sent Gangrel into the ringpost, and back into the ring. Brown then pinned Gangrel after a Sky High. After the match, Gangrel spat "blood" into Henry's face, attacked Brown, and performed an Impaler on Brown. [7] [8]

Black delivered a Black Mass to Gangrel, but Copeland then delivered a spear to Black and locked in a barbed wire-assisted crossface on Black.
Gangrel, who accompanied her to ringside, responded by executing his Impaler DDT on the champion. This led to a mixed tag on the following episode of SmackDown, in which Vachon and Gangrel defeated Moore and her partner Prince Albert. Edge returned to the ring and performed a spear on Jarrett while Jarrett's valet Debra distracted both Edge and the referee. Debra was eventually thrown off the ring apron as Edge and Jarrett attacked each other. Gangrel interfered in the match and attacked Edge, allowing Jarrett to perform a Stroke to win the Intercontinental Championship. [1]
