WYYY (94.5 FM "Y94") is a commercial radio station licensed to Syracuse and serving Central New York.It broadcasts an adult contemporary radio format, switching to all Christmas music for much of November and December.
Y94 is the Fargo-Moorhead affiliate of American Top 40. On June 1, 2007, the antenna system used for Y94, KFNW-FM, and KRWK "Rock 102" caught fire, leading the stations to temporarily broadcast on auxiliary facilities at a lower power. The stations resumed full power on August 3, 2007.
Starting in October 1998, a "Song of the week" was made available for download. This feature ended sometime in August 1999. The series consisted of 26 tracks in mp3 format, each at a bit rate of 128kbs, except for track 10, which has a bitrate of 160kbs.
