Bell Mountain is an unincorporated community in the Victor Valley region of the Mojave Desert, within San Bernardino County, southern California. It is north of Apple Valley, east of Interstate 15, and 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Victorville. [1] The town lies at 3,082 feet above sea level [citation needed] on Dale Evans Parkway.
Blue Jay Village today is home to 2,314 residents. It is considered the entertainment district of the Lake Arrowhead community. It contains a shopping center, a number of restaurants, a bank, the Lake Arrowhead Library, and many privately owned stores. A movie theater, Blue Jay Cinema, operated from 1988 until June 2023. [5]
The lake and the surrounding area make up the Lake Gregory Regional Park adjacent to Crestline, California. The area, originally known as Houston Flat, was developed by and named for its developer, Redlands citrus grower Arthur Gregory, Sr. Gregory bought and developed land in an area known today as Valley of the Moon.
