Emails from specific senders may be set up to go to the trash or other folders. Check your settings to view or change where they're going. • If you've set up filters, the settings may be routing some emails to the trash. You can review your filter settings in New AOL Mail and edit or delete any incorrect filters
Open the Spam folder. Select the email. Click Restore to Inbox or Not Spam; Click Ok on the top toolbar to move the message into your inbox. Future messages from this sender will be delivered to the inbox.
On the flip side, junk email can easily make its way past the spam folder filter and into your main email inbox. Sometimes, that spam can contain phishing links and other malicious code.
Emails deleted from the apps will be placed in your Trash folder. Deleting email from the Trash removes it from your account. Apps that use POP.
