Bangladesh Shilpa Bank Bhaban is a tall high-rise located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located in Motijheel , the central business district of the metropolis. It rises up to a height of 71 metres (233 ft) and comprises a total of 22 floors.

Nagar Bhaban (Bengali: নগর ভবন) is a building in Dhaka, Bangladesh similar to Town hall that houses the headquarters of Dhaka South City Corporation. The building previously housed the offices of the Dhaka City Corporation prior to the bifurcation of Dhaka as a result of the Local Government (City Corporation) Amendment Act 2011.
Finally, in 1990, it was renamed as Dhaka City Corporation. Until 1994, mayors were appointed by the government. The first elected mayor by popular vote took office in 1994, late Mayor Mohammad Hanif was the first elected Mayor of Dhaka. Annisul Huq was elected mayor of the Dhaka North City Corporation in April 2015. [5]
This is an important area of Dhaka city as prime minister's office is located near it. It is bounded by Mohakhali to the north, Old Airport Road to the west, Tejgaon Industrial Area, Kawran Bazar, West Nakhalpara, Tejturi Bazar and Tejkunipara to the south and BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, Dhaka Cantonment to the east.

Neighboring places of Farmgate are Shahbagh, Kawran Bazar, Panthapath, National Parliament, Rajabazar and Bijoy Soroni. The name came to be because of a farm that used to exist in the area.
