The directors were: Josep María Lamaña (1935–1957); industrial engineer and amateur musician. [1] Enric Gispert (1957–1972); a choral conductor.
Donés grew up in Barcelona. [1] [2] He got his first guitar when he was 12 years old. Alongside his brother Marc, Pau Donés set up his first band: J. & Co. Band, and later on: Dentaduras Postizas. [3] Donés split his schedule between performing concerts locally, working as an advertising agent, [4] and studying economics. [5]
