Arang is one of the 90 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Chhattisgarh state in India. [2] It is part of Raipur district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. In 2008 delimitation, Mandirhasod Assembly constituency was merged into Arang. Currently most of the Naya Raipur comes under Arang constituency.
