The Chicago Steel are an ice hockey team that plays in the United States Hockey League since 2000. The Steel have played their home games at Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois since 2015; previously, the team played at Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, Illinois , from 2000 to 2015.

Macklin Celebrini (born June 13, 2006) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college hockey for the Boston University Terriers. [1] During his freshman season he won the Hobey Baker Award, becoming the youngest player to win the award.

On April 26, 2022, Hage signed with the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for the 2022–23 season. [6] In September 2022, he suffered a torn labrum during his first practice with the team. Upon his return in March 2023, he recorded five goals and five assists in the Steel's final 13 games of the regular season. [7] [8] [9]
After two years with the National Team Development Program (USNTDP), Farrell began playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Chicago Steel.He was originally meant to begin his collegiate career with the Harvard Crimson during the 2020–21 season, however, following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ivy League teams opted not to participate in the athletic season.
