The Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC; Spanish: Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio) is the competition regulator in Colombia. It is the statutory body of Government of Colombia in charge of regulating fair business practices, promoting competitiveness and acting as the Colombian patent and registration office.
Daniel Quintero Calle (born 26 July 1980) is a Colombian politician who has served as the mayor of Medellín since 2020. Quintero was controversially suspended from 10 May to 21 June 2022 by inspector general Margarita Cabello Blanco for allegedly attempting to interfere in the 2022 presidential election.

In the 1970s El Poblado became the place for Medellín's wealthy residents and was the second urban center; it was given the nickname Milla de Oro (Golden Mile) and the Zona Rosa was established – an exclusive tourist area for business, night clubs and general activities for locals and visitors.
