Tahsan Rahman Khan (born 18 October 1979) [5] is a Bangladeshi musician, actor and television presenter. He was the former keyboardist and second vocalist of the Grunge and alternative rock band Black. Currently he is the lead singer of his own band called Tahsan and the Band. [6] Tahsan was born and raised in Dhaka.
They were soon joined by Mahmudul Karim Miraz (bass guitars), and in 2000, Tahsan Rahman Khan (keyboards and vocals). [2] After signing a contract with G-Series, Black broke through the mainstream with their debut studio album "Amar Prithibi" (2002). Since then, they have released five studio albums and have appeared in some mixed albums.
Although the band was inactive for a while, they were still releasing singles through compilation albums. After a five-year break, the band announced their official comeback with the release of their third studio album titled Abar, which was released in 2008. Work on the album properly started after Rafiqul Ahsan Titu (ex-Aashor) joined the band as the permanent bass player after Shahriar Shagor left the band. Black stated, they had plans to release the album on the Eid-ul-Azha of 2010, but due to other commitments of the band members and tight scheduling they were unable to succeed.
