The Triumph Spitfire is a British sports car manufactured over five production iterations between 1962 and 1980. Styled for Standard - Triumph in 1957 by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti , the Spitfire was introduced at the London Motor Show in 1962. [ 5 ]
Different exterior and interior colours were offered in different years, with the original colour of a TR6 indicating when it was likely manufactured. For example, TR6s originally painted Royal Blue were only offered up until 1971, whereas Inca yellow was a colour only available on 1976 TR6s.
