Suzhou Rail Transit, also known as Suzhou Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. Line 1 began operation on April 28, 2012. Line 4 is a line of Suzhou Rail Transit.It runs in a north-south alignment from Longdaobang station in Xiangcheng District's the northern suburbs, to the canal town of Tongli in Wujiang District in the south and Muli in the southwest. [1]
The line was opened in two phases, with the 26.557 km (16.502 mi) long first phase from Suzhou North Railway Station to Baodaiqiao South (宝带桥南) near Baodai Bridge started operations on December 28, 2013. This section consisted of 6.57 km (4.08 mi) of elevated track and 19.146 kilometres (11.897 mi) of underground track.
