Trinity University is a private liberal arts college in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1869, its student body consists of about 2,600 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. Trinity offers 49 majors and 61 minors among six degree programs, [5] and has an endowment of $1.856 billion. [1]

Founded in 1976, KRTU is a non-commercial educational, nonprofit radio station under Trinity's 501(c)(3). KRTU programs a 17-hour/day mainstream jazz format, with alternative/indie rock overnight. The broadcast reaches throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area and into adjoining townships.

In 2016, Trinity won the NCAA Division III College World Series and became national champions. In a best-of-three format, Trinity defeated Keystone College 14-6 in game 1 and 10-7 in game 2. Trinity defeated the 2015 champion, SUNY Cortland, twice in the bracket rounds of the tournament en route to the national championship. [11]
The congregation at Trinity, one of the oldest Methodist congregations in Durham, was founded in 1832. [1] They were known as the Orange Grove Church and later as the Durham Methodist Church. [ 1 ] They first met in a small school house on Raleigh Road. [ 2 ]
Trinity Methodist Church is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Built in 1897, it was constructed by Stewart Ironworks. [1] The NRHP eligibility of this and other properties was evaluated in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources. [2]
