The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by Billboard in conjunction with Billboard Korea (빌보드코리아) on August 25, 2011. It is the second Asian Billboard chart after the Japan Hot 100 . [ 1 ]
In 2010, the Korea Music Content Industry Association (KMCA) established the Gaon Chart, a weekly record chart that tabulates both physical and digital music sales. [2] Gaon first published digital download figures for songs in February 2011, when it released a list of the best-selling songs of 2010. [ 3 ]
"Growl" reached number 2 on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, as well as number 3 on the Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100 and World Digital Songs charts. [4] [5] [6] Billboard listed "Growl" as the fifth best-selling K-pop song in America during 2013. [7] The song also won first place 14 times in total on South Korean music TV shows.
The group was formed through the Korean television program Produce 101 in 2016, and the 11 members were picked from 101 trainees aiming to be K-pop stars. The group's name I.O.I is an acronym for "Ideal of Idol," which emphasizes the member's expertise and potential as some of the top K-pop idol trainees of 2016.
"Crazy" (Korean: 미쳐; RR: Michyeo) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group 4Minute for their sixth extended play, Crazy (2015). The song was written and produced by Seo Jae-woo, Big Ssancho, and Son Young-jin, with co–writing from group member Hyuna.
