Al-Shaykh Badr has an altitude of 536 m (1,759 ft). According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), al-Shaykh Badr, which is the center of its nahiya (subdistrict), had a population of 9,486 in the 2004 census. [1] As of 2008, its subdistrict had a population of 47,982. Its inhabitants are predominantly Alawites. [2]
Badr is located 130 kilometers southwest of Medina and lies in a harsh natural landscape of desert plains, steep hills and sand dunes.. In pre-Islamic times, Badr was part of the night journey from the coast of the Red Sea, along the caravan route from Mecca to Damascus.

Badr (Arabic: بدر pronounced) is a satellite city in the Eastern Area of Cairo, Egypt. [3] It was planned and is administered by the New Urban Communities Authority(NUCA). [4]
The street runs from al-Tahrir Square to the Kahramana Square where the Kahramana monument is located with al-Firdos Square located in the middle of it which contains the 17th of Ramadan Mosque, the Palestine Hotel and the Ishtar Hotel. The street was also notable for including many cinemas, cafés, libraries, and shops.
Bader Al-Mulla was born on April 3, 1971, in Kuwait. He got a bachelor's degree on Police Sciences in 1996. He went on later to study law getting his Bachelor's on 2000. Bader got his master's on private law in 2005 and his doctorate on civil law in 2010. He later went on to work as a law professor on Kuwait University. [1]
It goes through the towns of Al-Faqa' (shared by the Emirates of Abu Dhabi [2] and Dubai) [3] and Al-Hayer, [2] and connects to Al Madam in the Emirate of Sharjah via Al-Shwaib. [1] Once in Al Ain, a city that shares a border with Oman , the road becomes Emirates Street and later, Bani Yas Road .
