A sequel, Way of the Samurai 4, was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2011. The English version of the game was released in North America by publishers Agetec (PS3) and UFO Interactive Games (Xbox 360) on October 13, 2009, and in Europe by Rising Star Games on March 12, 2010.
