The Bahnhofstraße flows into the Ernst-August-Platz plaza, the forecourt of the Hannover Hauptbahnhof, which is the main railway station for the city of Hanover. In October 2008, the Ernst August Gallery, a three-storey ECE shopping center with specialty shops, service and catering establishments, opened northwest of the main station.
Herrenhausen-Stöcken (German: [ˈhɛʁn̩ˌhaʊzn̩]; Eastphalian: Herrnhusen) is a borough of the German city of Hanover, northwest of the city centre. In 2020 it had a population of 37,543. It consists of the quarters Burg, Herrenhausen, Ledeburg, Leinhausen, Marienwerder and Stöcken.
Vahrenwald-List (Eastphalian: Fahrnwoole-List) is the second district of Hanover. With 71,173 inhabitants (2020), it is the most populous district of the city consisting of the quarters Vahrenwald (24,986 inh.) and List (46,187 inh.). Since 2011, the SPD politician Irma Walkling-Stehmann holds the district mayor office.

Hannover Bismarckstraße is a railway station located in Hannover, Germany. The station opened on 1 May 1911 and is located on the Hanoverian Southern Railway, Hanover–Würzburg high-speed railway and Hanover–Altenbeken railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn as part of the Hanover S-Bahn.
