The Pontarddulais Male Choir (Welsh: Côr Meibion Pontarddulais) is a Welsh male voice choir from Pontarddulais near Swansea, Wales. It is the most successful choir in Wales and is internationally renowned having performed in many parts of Europe as well as Canada and the United States.
The words sung in Welsh to "Rachie" are typically I Bob Un Sydd Ffyddlon, [4] and were written by Henry Lloyd (1870-1946), who is better known by his bardic name Ap Hefin. [5] [1] The lyrics are a call to battle, this can also be seen in the English translation. The words express a similar call to arms as does the hymn "Onward, Christian Soldiers".

Rhys-Evans, from New Tredegar, was a vocal tutor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. [4] He has conducted several choirs, including The Black Mountain Male Chorus of Wales and Dunvant Male Choir. [5] He founded Only Men Aloud! in 2000 [6] (also known at Cantorion) and led them to victory in the Last Choir Standing competition in 2008.

Cytgan won the youth choir competition at the National Eisteddfod at Meifod in 2003. The choir also brought the 2005 Llandeilo Music Festival to a close, and reached the final round of the S4C Cor Cymru 2005 mixed choir competition. The choir's CD, ‘Cytgan’, which was released by Fflach Records, has also been successful.
