Texas's 18th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives includes much of inner city Houston and the surrounding area. It has been the Downtown Houston district since 1972. The district seat is currently vacant, but was previously represented by Democrat Sylvester Turner before his death.

District 18 is a district in the Texas House of Representatives. The district has been represented by Republican Janis Holt since January 14, 2025. [2] As a result of redistricting after the 2020 Federal census, from the 2022 elections, the district encompasses San Jacinto, Liberty and Hardin counties in East Texas.
