In December 2014 The Lakes Distillery was established in 2014 by Paul Carrie and provides a variety of products. [4] On 7 January 2022 The Lakes Distillery announced plans to expand its distillery by installing 8 new washbacks. The Copper Rivet Distillery, based in a Grade II listed building in Chatham, Kent, was founded by Bob Russell and his sons Matthew and Stephen, in August 2016. [43] [44] The distillery has three stills; Sandy (pot), Joyce (column), and Janet (gin). Janet was designed by head distiller Abhi Banik and was granted a patent in 2019.
Located within Dorset they span the breadth of the original Canford estate, clustered mostly in Canford Magna and Ashington, yet can also be further afield in Poole, Hamworthy, Lilliput and Longham, Ferndown. Being of significant historic importance, all the cottages are either Grade II Listed or Locally Listed. [4]
