The Cardenales de Lara (English: Lara Cardinals) is a baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP). Founded in 1942 and based in Barquisimeto , the Cardenales have won seven domestic titles, including back-to-back in 1998 and 1999 , 2019 , 2020 and 2025 .
He was on the Blue Jays during their 1991 American League Eastern Division and 1992 and 1993 World Series wins. He also helped the Astros win the 1997 and 1999 National League Central Division. During the Australian summer of 1989-90, Knorr played ball for the Melbourne Monarchs and the Williamstown Wolves.

The team made its official debut on October 14, 1969, at Estadio Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez against the Cardenales de Lara. The Águilas lost the game, 3–2, with Juan Quiroz pitching a complete game loss, while Pablo Torrealba was credited with the win and Ken Sanders earned the save.
