After the siblings' grandmother is cured, they and Fran tell the king about Kaoru. Fran proves her existence by drinking one of her potions, turning her young again. She also gives a potion to the king's brother Roland, who has a disabled arm. After his arm is healed, Roland decides to not be king anymore and have a more easier life.
