Birch Island Run is a stream in Cameron County and Clinton County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River and is 7.2 miles (11.6 km) long. [1] There are a number of coal seams in the Birch Island Run watershed, as well as iron ore. Mining has been done in the watershed.

Birch Island Provincial Park is a remote provincial park located on Lake Winnipegosis in Manitoba, Canada. [2] The park is bordered on its western boundary by the Swan-Pelican Provincial Forest [3] and on its eastern side by Chitek Lake Anishinaabe Provincial Park.
