An idea. Make sure no software is running, open cmd as administrator, cd into the airspy-hf-flash-2024-03-12_4.0.3\airspy-hf-flash folder, push the tab key until you see FLASH.bat then press enter. Thats exactly the flashing procedure. I did it already from 3.0.2 to 3.0.6 and to 3.0.7.
I don't know if an HF+ Discovery is supported. But Airspy R2s and Airspy minis are supported using FMPA-CC.bat.
Feb 19, 2021. #2. I've had one two months. a) I have a 4 way switch near the Airspy, an old Alpha Delta I had from years ago. They are pricey now. The separation between the antenna isn't great but better than swapping antennas. There may be some cheaper ones out there. c) I haven't been able to find one.

I remember watching that series called 'Everest: Beyond the Limit' on the Discovery Channel a few years back. Organizer Russel Brice used two-way radios routinely to communicate with his climbers that were farther up the mountain from his tent in Base Camp. I'm almost positive the few times they showed the radio it was set on a 2M Ham frequency.
In the logs, the Department will be tagged as "Unknown", and the channel description will only be the talkgroup, since the scanner would not know what it was being used for. Once you start to see activity on the new system, then you could set it back up as a Discovery season, to focus on usage on the new system.
