Each of these brands further has two different 'Group size' and 'Fitment code' for my car (i.e. a total of 4 different batteries). I'm not an expert in batteries.

Their batteries come from the same manufacturer as Costco's Kirkland and Energizer. The reason you need to replace it after only 4 years could be any of the following: - it had been sitting on the shelf at Mr Lube too long and was sulphated. - it had a manufacturing defect. - your ES350 has a parasitic draw.
I have an Elantra. As a member, my battery quote is $199. If I went to Costco and bought a Kirkland battery, that would be just $99. CAA is definitely embedding installation costs in the price. Both of them offer warranty, although CAA is a bit longer. Even though CAA includes installation, I am leaning more towards Costco because: 1. Price; 2.
Mar 7, 2007. 5347 posts. 3032 upvotes. Early failure of Costco battery (1.5 year) My mother-in-law' called me last week to let me know her car's battery failed. Yesterday, I went to troubleshoot the problem, the battery is dead. It is a Kirkland from Costco, manufactured Feb. 2019 (as per the sticker), installed around April 2019 (I got it and ...
Even with the price of membership, the total cost of the purchases is not much more. The 96r Kirkland battery is ~$35/$60 cheaper than Walmart's/Ford's Motocraft Max respectively for example. I think the 96r Kirkland and Motorcraft Max are the same. +1.

I'm sure a search will turn a few up. I had a CT battery that came with a used truck. It died just a few months before the end of the warranty.
And you can’t beat their 100 month Warranty ( pro-rated) or 48 month replacement warranty. Need a replacement battery. The Costco site suggested Energizer - Group H5-AGMAbsorbent Glass Mat Automotive Battery. Non were available at Costco but they did have a few Kirkland H5 batteries.
Regular Kirkland batteries have 48 months return /exchange window - you can swap for brand new battery after 2-3 years and be good for another stretch. Note Costco Etobicoke still has some tags with older prices on the battery rack. My battery is $114.99 on the shelf, but $119.99 at the cash.
