The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a 183-acre (74 ha) zoo in Cleveland, Ohio.The Zoo is divided into several areas: Australian Adventure; African Savanna; Northern Wilderness Trek, The Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building, Waterfowl Lake, The RainForest, Asian Highlands, and the newly added Susie's Bear Hollow.
In 2016, the park relocated to new premises of 600 hectare (ca. 1,500 acre) in the Cradle of Humankind in the North West province. The park is situated north of Lanseria Airport within driving distance of Johannesburg and Pretoria. It has a large variety of predators and large herbivores indigenous to Africa.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago, also known as the Chicago Zoological Park, [2] [3] is a zoo located in the Chicago suburb of Brookfield, Illinois. It houses around 450 species of animals in an area of 216 acres (87 ha).
As of 2004, the refuge spanned 30,000 acres (120 km 2) of open bay, salt pond, salt marsh, mudflat, upland and vernal pool habitats located throughout south San Francisco Bay. About 9,000 acres (36 km 2 ) of salt ponds within the refuge are managed by Cargill Salt, which has perpetual salt-making rights.
