The Texas State Bobcats softball team represents Texas State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Sun Belt Conference. The Bobcats are currently led by twenty-second-year head coach Ricci Woodard. The team plays its home games at Bobcat Softball Stadium located on the university's campus. [2] [3]
The Bobcats have nine NCAA appearances (1999, 2001, 2003, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021). The program is 1,016-979-3 (1985–2021), a .509 winning percentage. Texas State's head coach, Ricci Woodard (2001–Present), is the longest serving Texas State softball coach, leading the Bobcats through 21 seasons.

Bobcat Ballpark is a baseball venue in San Marcos, Texas, on the campus of Texas State University. It is home of the Texas State Bobcats baseball team of the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. It currently holds 2,500 spectators. [1] In 2008, the baseball and softball stadiums were renovated and expanded to its current design.
