A new 'flag-to-flag' rule has been introduced. This means that, in the event of rain, the race will not be stopped and instead will be allowed to change bikes. This rule will only count for the MotoGP class. A new white flag has been introduced. If this flag is waved at a marshal post during the race, all riders are allowed to change bikes.
