Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (Japanese: 機動戦士ガンダム00（ダブルオー）, Hepburn: Kidō Senshi Gandamu Daburu Ō, Mobile Suit Gundam Double-O) is a Japanese anime television series, the eleventh installment in Sunrise studio's long-running Gundam franchise [1] comprising two seasons.
The series focuses on the four mobile suit pilots of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being. The pilots, referred to as Gundam Meisters (ガンダムマイスター, Gandamu Maisuta, German for Master), pursue the complete eradication of armed conflict mainly through the deployment of the revolutionary Gundam units in aggressive armed interventions.
Manga serialized in Gundam Ace starting in December 2007. It is a side story with art by Kōichi Tokita. It also tries to link the main story to the 2 other side-stories and introduces the characters and mecha from them. [1] First volume was released on March 26, 2008 by Kadokawa Comics. [3]
