The Clearwater River forms the southwest edge of the community, flowing out of the lake and running south toward the Blackfoot River, part of the watershed of the Clark Fork River. Montana Highway 83 passes through the community, leading south 14 miles (23 km) to Montana Highway 200 at Clearwater Junction and north 74 miles (119 km) to Bigfork.
