The Lake is a Canadian comedy television series created by Julian Doucet for Amazon Prime Video. The series was Amazon's first scripted Canadian Amazon Original series, and premiered on June 17, 2022. [2] Its first season is based on Vongozero, a novel by Russian author Yana Vagner. [3] Netflix acquired the first season and released it internationally on 8 October 2020.
The season was released in two parts: the first four episodes were released on 16 November 2023, and the remaining six were made available on 14 December 2023.
