University of Westminster Students' Union (UWSU) was founded in 1966 as The Polytechnic Students' Union. Its first President was Owen Spencer-Thomas (1966–1967). [ 42 ] During the 1970s the newly formed Polytechnic of Central London Students’ Union (PCLSU) engaged in a strategy of protest and direct action.

This is a list of Student radio stations operated by the students of a college, university or other educational institution. In the United States these radio stations are called College radio stations, sometimes Campus radio and in the United Kingdom they are called student radio stations.
Courses include the CertHE, BA(Hons), Graduate Diploma (also with vocational options in Student Ministry and Church Planting & Leadership) and MA. The courses are delivered through a blend of in-person teaching, web learning and video-conferencing making it possible for students to study university level theology around their everyday commitments.
The university has over 70 campus clubs and organizations. The Associated Students of Westminster is the student association on campus. The school newspaper is a bi-weekly called "The Forum". Westminster Technical College was a school in Vincent Square, London SW1. It comprised two schools, a Civil Engineering academy and a Cookery academy. It was attended by Anthony Hunt, [1] [2] and Katie Stewart. [3] Harold Harding was a School governor at the college. [4]

The new Students' Union building was completed in Summer 2015 and operates a bar, a coffee shop and two convenience stores at Frenchay Campus. A Students' Union bar and shop is also available at Glenside Campus and Bower Ashton Studios. The student radio station, Hub Radio operates out of a studio on campus.
