Sarah Bush Lincoln (December 13, 1788 – April 12, 1869) was the second wife of Thomas Lincoln and stepmother of Abraham Lincoln. She was born in Kentucky to Christopher and Hannah Bush. She married her first husband, Daniel Johnston, in 1806, and they had three children.

The first building solely for Tuscola High School was opened October 2, 1922, bounded by Sale, Niles, Overton and Indiana Streets. [ 2 ] : 275 That building was then used from 1957 to January 1969 as a grade school, [ 2 ] : 275 after the newer high school was opened in November 1957, bounded by Daggy, VanAllen, and Prairie Streets.
