Stats at Basketball Reference David Lawrence (May 5, 1959 – March 20, 2017) was an American basketball player. He was a star college player at McNeese State University , a second round draft pick in the 1980 NBA draft , and played professionally in Europe for nine seasons.
Six-on-six basketball or basquette is a largely archaic variant of basketball, usually played by women and girls. The young Lawrence attended Beauvale Board School [7] (now renamed Greasley Beauvale D. H. Lawrence Primary School in his honour) from 1891 until 1898, becoming the first local pupil to win a county council scholarship to Nottingham High School in nearby Nottingham.
