First Congregational Church in Shrewsbury celebrates the blessings animals have brought to human's lives.
Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is on Oct. 4 every year and he is known for his love of all creatures, especially animals. Many members of the church and community gathered with their dogs, cats, photos and even a basket of pet toys in the front courtyard of the church.
