    I've used the $10 one for years, works fine for torquing lug nuts. If I wanted a more versatile torque wrench, I would get one with a higher range, the HF one goes up to 150 ft/lbs and it gets tough when you need to torque down things on the higher end due to leverage.

    They're accurate enough for anything you'd be using a click type torque wrench for. One of the car mags did a comparison/review a couple years back and found the cheap wrenches (including the HF) to be as accurate as the big name brands.
