The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) is the accrediting body for graduate programs in healthcare management in the United States and Canada. It is based in Spring House, Pennsylvania and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Although many colleges of business, public health, and/or health sciences in the United States have degrees with health administration content, about one-fourth have been accredited through the Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), which is the only accreditor recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation [3] for these programs.
However, all these programs are subjected to an accreditation review by their respective organizations: The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM in the US) [1] and the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM in Canada). [2]
The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is the primary accrediting body that recognizes online schools, but not all schools on this list are accredited by that agency.
