The Inatsisartut (Greenlandic: Inatsisartut, lit. 'those who make the law', [1] Greenlandic pronunciation: [inatt͡sisɑtːʉt]; Danish: Landstinget, lit. 'the land's-thing of Greenland'), also known as the Parliament of Greenland in English, [2] is the unicameral parliament (legislative branch) of Greenland, an autonomous territory [3] in the Danish Realm.

The Parliament of Canada's upper and lower houses are housed in Centre Block, the main building of the Canadian parliamentary complex. In 2019, the House of Commons was temporarily relocated to the complex's West Block and the Senate to the Senate of Canada Building , to accommodate the rehabilitation of Centre Block , which began in the same year.
The library holdings are split between the public library in the town centrum, and Ilimmarfik, the campus of the University of Greenland, located in the Nuussuaq district of Nuuk, where the Groenlandica collection of historical material related to Greenland is held. [2] As of 2018, there are 101,824 items in the library database at Ilimmarfik. [3]

For statistical and some regulatory purposes the country was divided into three divisions (landsdele) in 1951: West Greenland, North Greenland and East Greenland. The large Northeast Greenland National Park was established in 1974 encompassing the northern part of East Greenland and amended with the eastern part of North Greenland in 1988.
