The MP-25 can hold six .25 ACP rounds in the magazine, plus one in the chamber, and is finished in chrome, satin nickel or black. The grips can be either wood or imitation mother-of-pearl handles. Phoenix Arms was a firearms manufacturer established in 1992. A predecessor company owned by George Jennings, Raven Arms, ceased operations in 1991, after which Jennings retired and sold his designs to Phoenix. [1] Phoenix was founded and owned by Jennings’ ex-wife, his children, four of his grandchildren, and by Raven's former general manager.

Before its demise, Union Firearms also manufactured the Riefgraber automatic pistol, patented by J.J. Riefgraber, [1] on which Lefever also had "done some work". [3] Charles F. Lefever later worked for the Daisy company in Plymouth, Michigan , for which he designed the Daisy Model 25 , which sold over 15 million pieces by 1957.
The Daisy Model 25 is a BB gun, modeled after a pump action shotgun with a trombone pump action mechanism. The Model 25 dominated the low price, higher performance airgun market for over 50 years (1914–1978) before discontinuation. They re-entered production in 2009. The Model 25 was designed by Charles F. Lefever. [2]
