Solutions to a slope field are functions drawn as solid curves. A slope field shows the slope of a differential equation at certain vertical and horizontal intervals on the x-y plane, and can be used to determine the approximate tangent slope at a point on a curve, where the curve is some solution to the differential equation.
The AP Program includes specifications for two calculus courses and the exam for each course. The two courses and the two corresponding exams are designated as Calculus AB and Calculus BC. Calculus AB can be offered as an AP course by any school that can organize a curriculum for students with advanced mathematical ability. [1]
Fig. 1: Isoclines (blue), slope field (black), and some solution curves (red) of y' = xy. The solution curves are y = C e x 2 / 2 {\displaystyle y=Ce^{x^{2}/2}} . Given a family of curves , assumed to be differentiable , an isocline for that family is formed by the set of points at which some member of the family attains a given slope .

One may call this property of a field Rolle's property. [citation needed] More general fields do not always have differentiable functions, but they do always have polynomials, which can be symbolically differentiated. Similarly, more general fields may not have an order, but one has a notion of a root of a polynomial lying in a field.
A man who was recently fired from his job at Navy Pier, one of Chicago’s main tourist attractions, returned to his former workplace and killed two people before fleeing, according to police.
Before the 2024–25 school year, the multiple choice and free response section were each allotted 45 minutes, with 35 questions for the former and 3 questions for the latter. This made AP Physics C: Mechanics, along with Electricity and Magnetism, the shortest exams offered by College Board.
