The Stillwater News Press is a newspaper published in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. It is owned by CNHI . As of April 2020, it changed to printing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from a six-day-a-week morning daily schedule.
By statehood in 1907, downtown Stillwater was home to more than 50 buildings including several banks, churches, grocery stores, hotels, and department stores. The first newspaper was the Stillwater Gazette; telephone and gas service arrived in 1899; and the Eastern Oklahoma Railroad arrived in 1900.
In 2005, the company purchased seven stores in Wichita, Kansas from Falley's. In 2006, the company purchased the remaining fifteen stores from Falley's.
