Tannenberg Bold. Tannenberg is a Fraktur-family blackletter typeface, developed between 1933 and 1935 by Erich Meyer at the type foundry D. Stempel AG in Frankfurt am Main.The design followed the "New Typography" principles of Jan Tschichold that promoted "constructed" sans serif typefaces.
DIN 1451 is a sans-serif typeface that is widely used for traffic, administrative and technical applications. [1]It was defined by the German standards body DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, 'German Institute for Standardisation', pronounced like the English word din) in the standard sheet DIN 1451-Schriften ('typefaces') in 1931. [2]
Sütterlin is based on older German handwriting, which is a handwriting form of the Blackletter scripts such as Fraktur and Schwabacher, the German print scripts used at the same time. It includes the long s (ſ) as well as several standard ligatures such as ff (f-f), ſt (ſ-t), st (s-t), and ß (ſ-z or ſ-s).

Contrary to their current perception, in its early years, the Bauhaus school printed serif art nouveau typefaces. After some years of design work at the school, Herbert Bayer and Joost Schmidt created the more recognizable proposals—sans-serif geometric letterings, with decorative elements of the font removed for a crisp industrial style.
