Nagato (Japanese: 長門), known primarily under the alias of Pain (ペイン, Pein), is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Naruto created by Masashi Kishimoto. Nagato is the figurehead leader of the Akatsuki who wishes to capture the tailed beasts sealed into various people around the shinobi world.
The season follows the Akatsuki Leader Pain invading the Leaf Village and attempting to kidnap Naruto Uzumaki while Naruto tries to avenge his master Jiraiya's death as he trains with Fukasaku in the Mount Myoboku to learn the Sage Jutsu. It is referred to by its DVDs as the chapter of Two Saviors (二人の救世主, Futari no Kyūseishu).
The "Pain" most often seen in the series is the Deva Path, which is actually Nagato's deceased friend, Yahiko (弥彦), one of six animated corpses collectively known as "The Six Paths of Pain" (ペイン六道, Pein Rikudō), all controlled by Nagato and using one sixth of his full power.
Hanzo learned of the Akatsuki's existence from one of his men and expresses approval towards the organisation for sharing his ideals. Meanwhile, Yahiko, Konan and Nagato head to a small village that was attacked earlier by Hidden Stone ninja, deciding to approach them to resolve this peacefully.
Akatsuki Shisei Ichigō (アカツキ試製一號, lit. Akatsuki Prototyp 1, Akatsuki Prototyp 1) is the first installment of the series, which was released in November 2003 for Microsoft Windows. As the game itself has no storyline, it is a prototype version of Akatsuki Blitzkampf, below. [1

Released on DVD under the name The Gathering of the Five Kage (五影集結, Gokage shūketsu), [2] the season follows the assemblance of the Kage, the five village leaders attempting to stop Sasuke Uchiha and the remaining members of the Akatsuki while Naruto Uzumaki tries to comfront Sasuke. The season aired from February to July 2011.
